General Information: The following includes the Terms and Conditions of The Commissioned Art Network, hereafter referred to as TCAN. By using TCAN to purchase artwork, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms and Conditions below. We reserve the right to update the Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice.
Use of Site: When purchasing artwork through TCAN, you are agreeing that all information you provide at the time of purchase, including but not limited to your address, phone number, and email are all accurate and up to date.
Artwork fees: All artwork requires a $400 deposit. After your deposit, your artist will consult on additional fees per your specific artwork request (medium, size, etc.). These fees are final and non-refundable. If shopping internationally, please note that all fees on TCAN are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
Artist Communications: Any and all communication between yourself and the artist, must be done through TCAN. You are not permitted to contact the artist for the artwork you purchase through us on any other platforms. All communication is expected to maintain a level of professionalism and courtesy. We will not tolerate slander, threats, defamation, etc. TCAN will retain all conversations held between the buyer and artist in our secure internal records.
Artwork Approval and Delivery: You will receive a photo of your artwork once it is completed by the artist (please see guidelines for completion dates). You then have 72 hours to accept or decline the artwork. By accepting the artwork, you are acknowledging that the piece is now yours. You will not be entitled to changes or to later decline the artwork for other reasons. If you do not accept/decline the artwork within 72 hours, it is automatically accepted on your behalf. Your artwork will be shipped within 3 business days of acceptance of artwork, or after 72 hours has passed. You will receive a copy of your tracking number to the email we have on file. Please use this tracking number to see when your artwork will reach you. For delivery/shipment problems and delays outside of our control, please contact UPS.
